The most usual position of the women in the tech industry and corporate world is the position of receptionist, reporter or PA. If we try to find them on the top there will be examples but that is too less than the men. Women have already proved their merit and skill in the field of science and studies. Now it is time to use that merit in the practical field, time to take decisions for the nations, time to contribute equally in the national and the global economy. In the developed countries the women need to step ahead and in the developing and under developed countries everyone else should try so that they can step ahead. If the current trend continues in the same way then it will take too many years to erase the thick line of gender gap and we will not be there to witness the great success with our own eyes. We need change to make them happen. We need initiative.

Wow! Irtisam, you have posted a profound reflection on women in the light of technology and social progress. I am totally in tune with what you expressed in your concluding paragraph. I especially like your idea that in developing countries everyone should support to help women step ahead. Thank you for this post!!
ReplyDeletethank you for your inspiring comment. I hope it will help me to do even better in the future
ReplyDeleteYour post is so inspiring and also throws light how women in the developing countries are not given opportunities to use their talents. There can be true technological advancement only when each and everyone in a nation, men and women are equally represented in all areas, including politics. The society a s a whole should move on to a new level, not oppressing women. There are so many talents hidden in the kitchen, cooking and scrubbing this is her lifestyle in developing countries. Only a few women are able to get educated and take important positions in the world arena... It's time every women for a start given at least basic education.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your posting and also agree everyone should focus on the advancement of women. We have so much to share and contribute. Thanks for your thoughts. I also enjoy your picture and blog design; nice and clean.
ReplyDeleteNice post. If women are only engaged in minor fields of technology, their condition will not improve actually. There should be opportunity for women to participate in major fields too.
